Analysis:
The Green and Gold are looking to rebound after a dismal 2013 season. With their leader completely healthy, Eddie Lacy entering his second year and a great cast of receivers the offense looks good. They have made many additions to their defense to amend the squad which was ranked 25th last year. Most notably Julius Peppers came from Chicago to play alongside Clay Mathews III and bring this defense to a Super Bowl level.
Seattle's defense looks more fierce than last year, if that's possible. They have a ferocious secondary who only allowed 16 touchdowns last year and a run defense who only allowed 4. Along side with the 12th man it will be a tough game for any team to win against these formidable foes. The offense should make improvements with a now healthy Percy Harvin and a quarterback with a year of experience under his belt. The team still lacks a strong player at the tight end position.
This will end up being a battle between Offensive power house against Defense tank.
I predict the Packers will have upset the defending champs 24-21
